  1. Thanks for making these lists. What is the lowest you generally find? I’m looking at Northern Arizona University for a potential PhD but the only number I can find anywhere is ~10,000. That doesn’t sound right, it would not be enough to live on, but I can’t find anything else. Any ideas?

    1. I don’t know what the lowest amount of stipend offered. I am sure there is some universities out there with no stipend at all. In general, graduate work in the STEM field offers a much higher stipend level than other non-STEM programs. Though, everything can change in the near future if graduate students can unionize.
